Lawyers are getting more used to seeing journalists in the family courts. That’s all to the good. But parties who think their disputes may be of interest to the wider public may still wonder whether it’s safe to tip off a journalist.
I recently discussed these issues in a podcast about transparency in family proceedings. But this was not one of the pilots for A Lawyer Talks that I have been recording this summer, ahead of my planned launch in September. Instead, Lucy Reed KC and I were the guests of Simon Blain and Anita Mehta in Talking Family Law, the Resolution podcast.
You can listen to the episode on Spotify and on the Resolution website. Each podcast page includes links to the cases and legislation we discussed.
