Delivering the first of his three Hamlyn lectures on legal ethics last night, a leading academic argued that we were at “a moment of calamity for the legal profession and the legal system”.
Richard Moorhead was speaking at the University of Exeter, where he is professor of law and professional ethics. His lecture was introduced by Baroness Hale.
