The government has rejected a call from the Labour party for a temporary reduction in the size of juries in England and Wales.
In a statement released last night, the shadow justice secretary David Lammy MP said:
Victims of rape, murder, domestic abuse, robbery and assault are facing delays of up to four years because of the government’s failure to act.…
