A 6 per cent pay rise for all salaried members of the judiciary has been recommended by the Senior Salaries Review Body. The increase, backdated to April, would apply to some 2,200 full-time judges in courts and tribunals across the United Kingdom. But the decision is one for ministers; the review body merely provides advice to the government.
