Supreme Court blocks gender-neutral passports and limits reach of Human Rights Act
The UK Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by Christie Elan-Cane, a campaigner who was registered as female at birth but now identifies as non-gendered.
Responding to the ruling, Elan-Cane said there would now be an application to the European Court of Human Rights:
