A leading commercial lawyer has been appointed to a vacant ministerial post at the Ministry of Justice.
David Wolfson QC, described on his chambers website as one of the most sought-after commercial silks at the bar, will leave practice at One Essex Court for the duration of his ministerial appointment — which is unpaid. He will join the House of Lords.
