New guidance says closed hearings must be a last resort
New guidance issued by the vice-president of the Court of Protection says that closed hearings must always be a matter of last resort. If a party is excluded from a hearing or prevented from seeing evidence, these restrictions must be as limited as possible and kept under review so that they are maintained only if strictly necessary.
