BBC told care cases are not always source of material for journalistic endeavour
The Court of Appeal has set limits to the principle of open justice, overturning the decision of a judge in the High Court family division and ruling against the BBC.

The importance of the case can be seen from the fact that the appeal was heard by the lady chief justice Baroness Carr, sitting with Lady Justice King — a family specialist — and Lord Justice Warby, the leading media judge.
