A blueprint for reforming the Official Secrets Acts was published yesterday by the government’s law reform advisers for England and Wales. The Law Commission’s 270-page report, called Protection of Official Data, has taken five years to produce. It is available here, together with a short introduction, a 12-page summary and earlier consultation papers.
