A former SAS soldier who was refused permission to publish a book about his role in a counter-terrorist operation in Kenya has failed in an attempt to overturn the ban in the High Court.
Mrs Justice Steyn dismissed an application for judicial review brought by the author, who uses the pseudonym Christian Craighead. He claimed the defence secretary had unlawfully interfered with his right under article 10 of the human rights convention to freedom of expression.
