Sir Ivan clocks up 60 years

Congratulations to Sir Ivan Lawrence QC, still practising after 60 years at the bar. Members of his chambers, who are throwing a celebratory party for him later this week, believe he is one of only half a dozen practising barristers who were called to the bar in 1962 or earlier. For a man of 85, he appears extraordinary youthful.
