The justice secretary deserves credit for getting the Sentencing Act passed

Getting a sentencing code for England and Wales onto the statute book would be a real achievement at any time and Robert Buckland deserves full credit for steering what is now the Sentencing Act 2020 through parliament at time of crisis.
