Afghanistan inquiry has already received ‘significant information’

An independent inquiry into allegations that British special forces unlawfully killed detainees in Afghanistan a decade ago has already received “significant information”, its chair disclosed this morning. Sir Charles Haddon-Cave was speaking at the inquiry’s first preliminary hearing, held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
