MPs and peers have significant concerns about coronavirus "fines"

A joint committee of MPs and peers has called for a comprehensive review of all fixed penalty notices (FPNs) issued under the coronavirus regulations “as soon as is feasible”. More than 85,000 FPNs have been issued in England since the pandemic began and 8,000 in Wales.
