It's a tragic tale. I saw first-hand how one of the first tranche of postmasters to have their convictions quashed was shunned in the community, ending-up doing menial work between leaving prison and seeing his name cleared. I rather hope that some of the victims will publish their personal accounts, too.

I cannot help but look back over the decades and wonder whether outside of the Post Office, workers such as bank and building society terminal operators were similar victims… one such case still troubles me.
